After years of planning, our City of Commerce began to implement long sought after the Art in Public Places program to inspire our community, convey Commerce’s unique history and beautify our City.  Utility Boxes, freeway bridges, road medians and banner flags on light poles are being transformed into distinctive works of art that celebrates local artists, creates an attractive cityscape and deters graffiti. Each image conveys a story and highlights what makes Commerce unique – from our parks and recreational programs, to our industries and factories to protecting our environment to further create sustainable communities. The beautification of our City is truly an example of the positive results we as a Community can create together when the residents, the City and County unites. Commerce Deserves Better!
